RON RUSSELL, BS, PE, CEM, LEED AP, VP - ENGINEERING
Ron Russell provides technical oversight of Bee’s professional engineering deliverable. He is also responsible for the Bee Quality Control Program. Leadership, training and mentoring are subsets of his routine duties. Ron brings over 40 years of practical and engineering experience to his role at Bee.
Ron’s professional career has been focused on energy efficiency pursuits. Before joining Bee, he was VP of Engineering at Frontier Associates serving the utility industry. He was an Energy Engineer at the University of Texas – Austin. He has been a Senior Project Manager with Jacobs Engineering in Austin performing retro-commissioning, HVAC optimization and capital project planning for University of Texas System campuses. He served as an Engineering Manager at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. He was the Operations Manager for Reliant Energy in Houston providing leadership to their Energy Savings Performance Contracting business. Ron’s responsibilities have even included serving as an independent third party reviewer for energy projects seeking funding through the Texas State Energy Conservation Office. Few can match the breadth and depth of Ron’s career in the facilities energy engineering field.
